Bond helicopter landed this morning on the Plaza de la Constitution, (Zócalo) in Mexico City, Mexico, as the part of preparations of a scene of “SPECTRE” (2015).

Already early in the morning at 6:00 the production team and director Sam Mendes, came to the Zocalo to mark the route of a helicopter on Avenida 20 de Noviembre and around.

An hour later, came the private helicopter which is part of the scene; the route of the helicopter begins on Avenida 20 de Noviembre and flies over the city center, through National Palace and the Old City Hall.

Thirty minutes later, the helicopter was positioned on the the Zocalo, next to the Cathedral, where it remained until it took off again to test how the city looks like from the air.

The helicopter scene rehearsal was made this morning, but next week Sam Mendes and the crew will film a scene in which Bond chases the villain of the story in the City of Mexico.

Some roads will be closed on 19 March, and they will reopen to traffic on Friday:
The streets of Donceles, between Eje Central Lázaro Cárdenas and Allende; Filomeno Mata, between 5 de Mayo and Tacuba; Héroes del 57, including Belisario Dominguez and Donceles, and Callejón Condesa, between 5 de Mayo and Tacuba.
