Even though most of the scenes where Bond and Kara drive with Aston Martin DB8 was filmed in Austria, the part where Aston comes from lake to land was at the border of Austria and Italy, just some hundred meters on the Italian side at Laghetto Pramollo. It is over 40 kilometers south of Weissensee, Austria where the drive on the lake was filmed!
