007 again in Italy? Bond 25 will be filmed also in Matera?
February 4, 2019According to Italian Sassilive.it, one of the “Bond 25” filming locations will be Matera, Italy.
Matera is a city in southern Italy, about four hours from Rome by car.
The town lies in a small canyon carved out by the river Gravina. Matera is famous for its Sassi, where shops, restaurants and even houses are built inside caves.
Shooting will start on Saturday, April 6, 2019. Interesting places in the area are in the historical center of Matera (Cathedral, Piazza del Sedile, Via Ridola, Piazza San Francesco), views of the Sassi and the area of the Murgia.
Also possible locations are Palazzo Gattini in Piazza Duomo, Casa Diva in Via Giumella, the popular Hotel Sextantio in the Sasso Barisano and the Beach Restaurant Riva dei Ginepri, in Marina di Pisticci.
