The James Bond films have always placed women at the heart of the action. From the very outset, allies such as Honey Ryder (“Dr. No“, 1962) and Pussy Galore (“Goldfinger“, 1964) have proved themselves resilient and skillful. The films have since created numerous female characters that live long in the memory, including Tracy Di Vicenzo (“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service“, 1969), May Day (“A View to a Kill“, 1985) and Jinx (“Die Another Day“, 2002), to name a few.

This wrap is ingeniously designed to flatter and feel amazing against the skin. Made from a wonderful combination of 85% silk and 15% superfine cashmere creating the silkiest touch possible, with a gorgeous collared neckline, this new style from N.Peal is sure to turn heads. The Bond films have also featured powerful female adversaries whose intellect and inventiveness have tested 007’s mettle. Among the most notable are SPECTRE No.3 Rosa Klebb (“From Russia with Love“, 1963), business tycoon Elektra King (“The World Is Not Enough“, 1999) and fencing expert and arch double-agent Miranda Frost (“Die Another Day“, 2002).

This Superfine cashmere jumper is made using a very fine 100% cashmere worsted yarn which makes the garment lighter and wonderfully soft. Inspired by the sweater worn by Tilly Masterson when she wants to avenge the murder of her sister Jill by killing Goldfinger. When her first attempt fails, she tries again only to end up on the wrong end of Oddjob’s lethal hat, in Goldfinger (1964). The blend is 70% cashmere and 30% silk and exudes luxury and softness against the skin. This lightweight roll neck cashmere jumper is excellent for layering under our chunkier cashmere cardigans and capes. Perfectly finished with an N.Peal 007 stitched label and exclusive swing ticket, your purchase will also arrive beautifully gift wrapped in N.Peal’s 007 custom packaging as part of ‘Cashmere Collection Inspired by 50 Years of Bond’ range. 100% Superfine Cashmere.

To celebrate all of these iconic women, N.Peal has delved into the Bond archives to select a series of iconic looks from across the past 50 years and to reimagine them for today. The range is supported by a key piece N.Peal created for the forthcoming 007 film (“No Time To Die“, 2020) a Moorland Brown cashmere T-shirt worn by the character Madeleine Swann.

Expertly made from 85% silk and 15% superfine cashmere thus creating the smoothest and silkiest finish against the skin, this shirt style is truly elegant in its simplicity. Longline, adorned with buttons and a smart collar and cuffs, this is a truly beautiful new style. Inspired by the piece worn by Honey Ryder in Dr No. 1962.
