“The waiter had brought a half-bottle in an ice bucket and Bond watched approvingly as Katya threw back three glasses one after the other. She drank more with the main course. Khinkali turned out to be dumplings stuffed with minced lamb which they ate with their fingers. They also ordered a spicy chicken stew and khachapuri – bread topped with melted cheese. The food was every bit as good as Katya had said.”
