Pamela Fortunee Salem was born in Bombay, India on 22 January 1944 and died in Surfside, Florida, USA on 21 February 2024.

Bond fans remember her as Miss Moneypenny in “Never Say Never Again” (1983) alongside Sean Connery as James Bond 007.

She worked with Connery also in “The First Great Train Robbery” (1978) as Emily Trent.

Pamela Salem said in an interview in 1983 how she got the part of Moneypenny: “I had worked with Sean Connery before in “The First Great Train Robbery” and when he saw that I was one of the many people up for the part he personally suggested me to the right people, which was very nice.

For her family and friends: Be kind and gentle with yourself. Take your time and know that you have our full support.
