RIP “Die Another Day” director Lee Tamahori

Director Lee Tamahori has died. He directed Pierce Brosnan‘s last Bond movie “Die Another Day” (2002). Tamahori was born in Wellington, New Zealand, on 17th of June 1950 and died on 7th of November 2025.

Tamahori’s other film directions include e.g. “Once Were Warriors” (1994), “The Edge“, starring Anthony Hopkins and Alec Baldwin (1997), “Along Came a Spider“, starring Morgan Freeman (2001), “XXX: State of the Union“, starring Vin Diesel and Willem Dafoe (2005) and “Next“, starring Nicolas Cage and Julianne Moore (2007).
