September 5, 2019George Robert Lazenby, is the youngest actor to be chosen to play the role of James Bond, agent 007. Born in 5 September 1939 Goulburn, New South Wales, Australia, Lazenby was 29 years old when filming the 6th 007 film “On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” (1969) and 30 years old when the film premiered at the end of 1969.

“On Her Majesty’s Secret Service” was Lazenby’s first and last Bond film. He was preceded by Sean Connery in “You Only Live Twice” (1967) and followed also by Connery in “Diamonds Are Forever” (1971) as the role of James Bond.
