What: First shooting day of “SPECTRE” (2015) in Austria
Where: Altaussee, Austria
When: 5 January 2015

16.30: First shooting day is over and Daniel Craig can go to hot Finnish sauna, bio sauna, marble steam room or infrared sauna in Hotel Seevilla. Also indoor pool is available.
(007 Travelers recommends Finnish sauna). 😉

15.36: After all, the first scene has been filmed now during this day. Daniel Craig was standing on the traditional Plätten boat, which was crossing the lake.

15.07: Now it is too dark for the film crew to continue.

13.52: The snowfall has still not really ended and fog has spread around the lake.
13.46: The filming area is sealed by the security persons in order to keep the public and the media away.

13.42: Daniel Craig has now been brought to the filming location with a Ranch Rover.
13.26: Daniel Craig has not yet been spotted on the set.

13.06: The time is running, it might be too dark at 15.00.

12.50: Daniel Craig is not expected to use helicopter to the location, but the boat.

12.35: It looks that it would be possible to start shooting at 14.00. The helicopters are already making test flights over the lake.

11.23: A camera helicopter and rescue helicopters landed in snowy Altaussee. Wind and snow will make the shootings hard.

10.00: The filming is delayed due to bad the weather conditions. Heavy snowfalls have left roads blocked, ice on the lake, and storm force winds prevented any of the action scenes from going ahead as it was just too dangerous.

8.23: Temperature is -1.4 ° C and snow is falling lightly. It is not exactly warm in Altaussee.
Fire brigade boats moved in the morning over the lake. At the same time several men knocked ice from the rotor blades of the three provided helicopters.
