Brigitte Millar is an award winning London based, bilingual European/English, actress. Her family ancestry goes back to the famous painter Emil Nolde and she has inherited his natural creativity. But Emil died in abject poverty and although his paintings now fetch seven figure sums, Brigitte’s artistic skills were heavily discouraged. And would have been lost forever but for the support and encouragement of her brother.

007 Travelers is honoured to have an interview of “SPECTRE” actress Brigitte Millar who was seen as Dr. Vogel in the movie and in the official trailer as well.

Brigitte as Dr. Vogel in “SPECTRE”

1.You had a role as Dr. Vogel in SPECTRE. Tell about your role and the filming of SPECTRE.

The board room scene was filmed in a huge hall the size of several houses with marble columns and balconies to give it an intimidating atmosphere. Working with Chistoph Waltz and Daniel Craig was amazing as both are very generous actors and Sam Mendes is a truly great director, he always gets the best out of his actors.

2. You speak fluent German. What other languages do you speak?
I am bilingual and also speak French and basic Russian.

3. You were awarded “Best Supporting Actress” for your role as Amelia Holland in the Independent British Feature Film “David is Dying” in 2011. Tell us about your other movies, which one was the hardest or the best project to do so far?

I think playing “Katherine” in “The Quiet Hour” alongside Dakota Blue Richards (“Golden Compass), Karl Davies (“Game of Thrones) and Jack McMullen (“Waterloo Road) was the most emotionally demanding role to date. My character is a female gang leader and a baddie, who is not afraid to kill, if her existence is threatened, but at the same time she has a conscience and a vulnerable side to her, which makes her human and we can all identify with that.
4. Your favourite Bond actor? (leading male role)
Daniel Craig is the best Bond for me, he gives the character real emotional depth, he is the iconic Bond with a very human side to his personality that draws us in makes us care about him.
5. Your favourite Bond film?
Skyfall(2012), it’s the most gripping and exhilarating of them all.

6. Which is the best place where you have traveled so far?
The best place for me is New York, and I would absolutely love to spend more time working and living there.
7. Which is the place where you would like to visit but have not yet been?
I haven’t been to L.A yet, but would love to go and work there.
