Introducing Kiran Shah – a stuntman in “The World Is Not Enough”
November 18, 2023 0 By 007 Travelers007 Travelers had an honor of meeting actor and stuntman Kiran Shah. Mr. Shah visited Finland when his new film “There’s Something in the Barn” (2023) had its Finnish premiere at the Night Visions film festival in Helsinki (17th of November 2023). He told us that he was in Finland for the first time and that he had a great time. He was particularly interested in what we thought of his new film “There Is Something in the Barn“. We said it’s a very exciting and at the same time funny movie. Really good entertainment. We can warmly recommend.

Mr. Shah’s Bond connection comes from “The World Is Not Enough” (1999) where he is a stuntman in a boat scene filmed in front of the O2 Arena (formerly the Millennium Dome). Mr. Shah is one of the people who dodge Bond’s (Pierce Brosnan) Q-boat, as 007 steers it ashore in pursuit of Cigar Girl (Maria Grazia Cucinotta). Shah played a child avoiding the boat piloted by James Bond.

Kiran Shah is a well-known actor and his film career is quite respectable. As an actor, he has been seen e.g. in such films as “Star Wars: The Rise of Skywalker” (2019) as Nambi Ghima, “Solo: A Star Wars Story” (2018) as Karjj, “Star Wars: The Last Jedi” (2017) as Neepers Panpick, “Star Wars: The Force Awakens” (2015) as Teedo, “The Hobbit: An Unexpected Journey” (2012) as Goblin Scribe, “The Chronicles of Narnia: The Lion, the Witch and the Wardrobe” (2005) as Ginarrbrik, “Harry Potter and the Sorcerer’s Stone” (2001) as Goblin (uncredited), “Bullseye!” (1990) as Little Boss at Auction, “Legend” (1985) as Blunder, “Star Wars: Episode VI – Return of the Jedi” (1983) and “Raiders of the Lost Ark” (1981) as Abu.
