Screening of Dracula A.D. 1972 starring Christopher Lee – Scaramanga in “The Man with the Golden Gun” (1974) and Caroline Munro – Naomi in “The Spy Who Loved Me” (1977). Also starring Michael Kitchen – Bill Tanner in “GoldenEye” (1995). The film is followed by Q&A with Caroline Munro.
Synopsis:
Dracula and vampire hunter Van Helsing battle it out in Hyde Park 1872. Both are killed in the struggle, and a noblemen on horseback collects the dried blood of the Count and buries it in a churchyard. 100 years on and it’s swinging London. A group of partygoing teenagers, one of whom is a descendant of Van Helsing, hold a satanic black mass for kicks in an old graveyard and abandoned church. The leader of the group – Johnny Alucard – mixes his blood with that of the Count’s remains, resurrecting Dracula.
