In Memoriam: Shane Rimmer
March 29, 2019Another sad news to this week. Canadian actor and screenwriter Shane Rimmer has died at the age of 89. Rimmer was maybe best know for providing the voice of Scott Tracy in the television series “Thunderbirds“.
Bond fans remember Shane Rimmer for his roles in several Bond movies. First he appeared in “You Only Live Twice” in 1967 as “Havaii Radar Operator”. On second time his role was “Tom” in “Diamonds Are Forever” (1971). The biggest role in Bond films came in 1977 when Rimmer was Cmdr. Carter in “The Spy Who Loved Me“. According to IMDb.com he also provided the voice (uncredited) to “Hamilton” in “Live and Let Die” (1973).
