In Memoriam: Kenneth Tsang (1935-2022) – General Moon in “Die Another Day”

Today we are sad, when we have to report the death of Kenneth Tsang. He played the role of General Moon, the villain Tan-Sun Moon’s (later Gustav Graves) father in Bond movie “Die Another Day” (2002).

Kenneth Tsang Kong was born on the 5th of October 1935 in Shanghai, China and died on the 27th of April 2022 in Yau Tsim Mong District, Hong Kong). He was a Hong Kong actor. Tsang’s career spanned 50 years and included a variety of acting roles. Tsang won the Best Supporting Actor Award at the 34th Hong Kong Film Awards in 2015.

Tsang was in mandatory quarantine at the Kowloon Hotel in Hong Kong after he returned from Singapore on Monday 25th of April 2022.

It’s claimed Ministry of Health staff found him unconscious today and that he could not be revived – South China Morning Post reports.

A source says he was pronounced dead at the scene and that he had tested negative for Covid on Tuesday. (Source: Mirror)
